Just discovered this question and am fascinated by it. I remember writing an essay on water when I was at school and being fascinated by how its polar structure gave it these amazing properties like surface tension and expansion on freezing. I am hoping to write an article in Chemistry on this so I'll look into triangular snowflakes.
